About Leigh:
My name is Leigh Steele and, together with my real estate partner, we are full time realtors with Prudential Georgia in Peachtree City, Georgia. The world of real estate can seem like an intimidating place. Whatever your particular need, a real estate professional can help you navigate these potentially hazardous waters. My specialty is helping people relocate. My husband is active duty military and has been deployed numerous times over the years. During that time, I have had the privilege of working with and counseling military families who were coping with the stress of deployment and the losses incurred through injury or death. As a family readiness coordinator for over 4,000 soldiers and their families, I was in a position to negotiate on their behalf for various benefits and claims resulting from their deployment. Over the past 22 years, I have moved 17 times to many different states and countries before returning to my home state of Georgia. I know how hard (and exciting) moving can be…especially if you are moving to a new state. If you have children, I have learned some things that can make the transition easier for them as they discover a new neighborhood and a new school.
About Rachel:
Through previous employment in the legal field, in commercial mortgage loan servicing and now as your REALTOR®, I have 15+ years of experience and will strive to provide you with every service possible to make your real estate transactions both smooth and successful. I have earned my SRES designation (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) and I look forward to working with those in the 55+ market to explore the variety of lifestyles now available. However, please know that Leigh and I both enjoy working with a wide variety of buyers and sellers. From first-time homeowners to those who are specifically looking for foreclosures or have purchased homes on numerous occasions, we look forward to assisting you with any real estate needs. On a personal note, my children have been enrolled in the Fayette County public school system for the past 12 years and my husband teaches in a Fayette County high school. He is also a cancer survivor and we are grateful to be able to work for various projects that support the ongoing fight against this disease. In the meantime, a portion of each commission check I earn goes to Sunshine Kids, which is a non-profit foundation dedicated to providing quality group activities, camps and emotional support for kids who are receiving cancer treatment across North America. Their mission is to "provide exciting, positive group activities for children with cancer, so they may once again do what kids are meant to do...have fun and celebrate life!"
